Our website uses an automatic service to translate our content into different languages. These translations should be used as a guide only. See our Accessibility page for further information.
A range of templates have been designed to promote local organisations and providers who work to support older people or adults with disability. These resources can also be used to assist members in the community better understand who to contact for information, support or other services.
This template is suitable for service providers, and includes blank text fields to add in local contact details. The template also includes the response process to refer to for matters related to abuse, neglect or exploitation of an older person or adult with disability
The Abuse Prevention Collaborative in the Canterbury-Bankstown local government area produced a video raising awareness of abuse of people with disability. The video is also available in Arabic, Chinese and Vietnamese.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Collaborative produced a range of recordings in diverse languages that use real life scenarios to talk about elder abuse and how to seek support. These translated recordings are available below and can be used in training and on community radio to raise awareness about abuse of older people and the NSW Ageing and Disability Abuse Helpline.
The Abuse Prevention Collaborative in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region (POPA) have re-created the My Wellbeing Checklist for Aboriginal communities, along with a video promoting understanding and awareness of abuse.
Coaster
This coaster was designed by the South West Sydney Elder Abuse Prevention Collaborative, and re-purposes the My Wellbeing Checklist into a coaster. This has been used in RSL and Rotary clubs around NSW. To request this artwork for publication please email commissioner@adc.nsw.gov.au
